The Bigger Vision
Building restorative justice retail, starting with cannabis.
Cannabis legalization created a new industry without fully repairing the harm created by decades of criminalization, incarceration, and economic exclusion.
I believe cannabis can be part of the repair.
Itz Personal is building toward a premium cannabis retail experience that gives consumers trusted, convenient ways to support racial equity, healing, and economic opportunity through what they buy.
The goal isn't simply to sell cannabis differently.
It's to build a different kind of cannabis business.
One where quality matters.
One where Black economic power matters.
One where community impact is measurable.
One where consumers can see where their money goes.
Why It's Personal
This work isn't just professional for me.
I've spent years working in social equity, community organizing, strategy, leadership development, and social impact.
Cannabis brought many of those experiences together in a way that felt deeply personal.
My relationship with cannabis is connected to family, healing, culture, and the history of harm experienced by my community.
That history shaped the business I want to build.
But Itz Personal isn't only about cannabis.
It's about exploring what becomes possible when we take our values seriously enough to let them shape how we lead, how we build, how we spend, and how we participate in our communities.
